Working with Stash Wealth

    Here's how we break the mold:

    1. We're fluent in 30-something. Big life decisions, career momentum, and those "treat yourself" moments – we get it. No judgment, just smart strategies to help you live your best life now and in the future.  

    2. We lead with planning. Forget generic advice. We deep-dive into your goals, your dreams, and what you want your money to do – then create a personalized roadmap to get you there. 

    3. No commissions, no upsells, no hidden agendas. Our advisors are 100% focused on you and your goals. Think of us as your financial wingman, not someone trying to hit a sales quota.  

  • Yes, we do manage investments—but only after you complete The Stash Plan and choose to become a Private Client. This approach is unique to us and ensures your investments are always working toward your goals. We practice goals-based investing, which means we prioritize what matters most to you—whether that’s saving for a down payment, early retirement, or funding your child’s education.

    That’s why all clients start with The Stash Plan. It’s our comprehensive process to understand your unique goals, and it’s what guides your personalized investment strategy.

  • Our process is designed in two steps, each with a transparent fee structure:

    Step 1: Complete Your Stash Plan

    The Stash Plan is your customized financial roadmap designed to achieve your goals. We charge a one-time flat fee of $5,000 for this holistic financial plan (or $2,500 for your first Stash Plan). The plan is yours to keep, whether you choose to implement it on your own or decide to work with us long-term as a Private Client.

    Step 2: Become a Private Client (Optional)

    If you choose to become a Private Client with Stash Management for ongoing support, we charge an annual fee of 1.0% of your assets under management (AUM). This covers continuous advice, personalized portfolio management, on-demand support, and includes a Stash Plan Update every year (yes, that $5,000 custom roadmap is included with the 1% AUM fee).


  • No problem! You’ll still walk away with a complete, personalized financial plan that’s yours to use on your terms. And if you ever want a refresh, you can come back for an annual update anytime for $5,000—keeping your strategy as sharp as you are.

  • Absolutely. But let’s be real—that should be the baseline, not a badge of honor. We think it’s pretty telling that the industry even needs a legally binding obligation known as “fiduciary duty” to ensure advisors act in their clients’ best interest.

Financial Planning at Stash Wealth

  • While, yes, our advisors hold the CFP® designation, we don’t stop there. Traditional CFP® training is solid but often doesn’t cover the unique needs of high-earning young professionals who are serious about building wealth early. Our team goes beyond the basics, with extensive experience and ongoing education tailored to the goals, challenges, and big-picture dreams of our clients who are primarily starting with us in their 30s.

    We take a holistic approach that looks at your entire financial world—because your life is about more than just retirement planning.

  • It typically takes 4 weeks to complete the Stash Plan. This includes two virtual meetings with your advisor (around 1 hr each), gathering your financial information, talking through your goals, and collaborating to ensure your personalized plan is exactly what you hoped it would be.

  • Yes, absolutely! We specialize in helping clients manage and eliminate student loan debt.

    We understand that student loans are a major concern for many young professionals. Our advisors have extensive experience in developing personalized strategies for tackling student debt, including:

    • Creating a repayment plan: We'll help you create a realistic and manageable plan to pay off your loans efficiently.

    • Exploring refinancing and consolidation options: We'll analyze whether refinancing or consolidating your loans could save you money and simplify your repayment process.

    • Balancing debt repayment with other goals: We'll help you balance your student loan payments with other financial priorities, such as saving for a down payment on a home or investing for retirement.

    On average, our clients come to us with around $80,000 in student loan debt, so you're definitely not alone! We're confident that we can help you develop a plan to manage your student loans effectively and achieve your financial goals.

  • Yes. Money is a sensitive topic. You'll have a dedicated advisor who'll be your financial confidante, getting to know your goals and dreams as well as they know your financial situation. They'll be your go-to person, guiding you every step of the way. And for those unique situations, they have a team of specialists to call on – like if you need to figure out how to leave your millions to your pet goldfish. (Just kidding...kind of.)

Financial Planning for Couples

  • Merging your accounts is not a requirement.

    We understand that combining finances is a big decision with both practical and emotional considerations. During The Stash Plan, we'll discuss the pros and cons of merging, as well as the potential impact on your relationship. This will help you make an informed choice that aligns with your individual needs and preferences.

    We'll also share Stash Wealth's philosophy on managing money as a couple and help you develop a customized approach that works best for you, whether you choose to merge accounts or not.

  • We get it. Sometimes, one partner is more gung-ho about finances than the other. But here's the thing: if you're in a serious relationship and planning a life together, doing the Stash Plan solo is like trying to build a house on a foundation of sand. It might seem okay at first, but eventually, it's going to crumble.    

    We've seen it time and time again: someone starts the Stash Plan alone, then realizes they can't make real progress without their partner. By then, it's too late to hit rewind. Trust us, save yourself the headache (and the extra cost) and do it together from the get-go. The price is the same whether it's just you or both of you.    

    And hey, if your partner needs a little nudge, we've got you covered. Our expert planners are pros at getting everyone on board and excited about planning for the future.  Think of it as couples therapy for your finances—except way more fun (and with tangible results).

  • No! It's the same price whether you're flying solo or bringing your better half. We believe in financial equality, not surcharges for love.

Private Clients with Stash Management

  • For clients who want a team of experts maximizing their finances for them, Stash Management is our ongoing support option after The Stash Plan. Unlike most advisory firms, we offer much more than investment management—you get a team dedicated to making sure your money is working for you behind the scenes, so you can stay focused on living your life.

    As a Private Client, you’ll have access to our trusted network of specialists for everything from taxes to estate planning, on-call financial advice whenever you need it, and an annual update of your Stash Plan (a $5,000 value) to keep you on track. It’s your financial peace of mind, so you can thrive without sweating every dollar. For everything else, there’s therapy.

  • We charge an annual fee of 1% of your assets under management (AUM) with a $200/mo minimum. This covers continuous advice, personalized portfolio management, on-demand support, and includes a Stash Plan Update every year (yes, that $5,000 custom roadmap is included with the 1% AUM fee).

  • We keep it simple and rely on tried and true investment strategies that work. Things like dollar cost averaging, tax loss harvesting, and periodic rebalancing. We dove into the deep end of this question on our Investment Philosophy page.

  • You have 90 days from when you complete The Stash Plan to decide if you’d like to come on board as a Private Client.

  • Absolutely! We've got you covered. As a Private Client, we have the flexibility to manage your investments according to your company's restrictions. In most cases, it's smooth sailing. For those extra-strict employers, we'll gladly work with them to ensure everything aligns perfectly.
